Can this be done using Sony Vegas Pro 10? How? I have the new version of Boris continuum that has the motion key filter inlcuded.

Bill this can be done with BCC Motion Key and Sony Vegas but it is done a little differently than with Red. Try looking at this tutorial: http://www.borisfx.com/tutorials/motion_key.php Although its Avid it is much more similar to Sony than this tutorial is.

I'm not trying to be a smartass but I think it would be more helpful to demonstrate this feature with a different source clip. In a real world scenario with this clip you would just hold a frame where the car isn't in. There's virtually no other movement that needs to be preserved. And there are some visible artifacts around the car left in.
How good would this work for instance with a moving camera shot?
