The information presented in this video is wrong. First when he open the Graph Display, it does not appear as it should in RED 5.06.209. There are handles in his screen, but the handle do not appear in mine. How is this possible? What version is training with?

Also, his interface has small changes; when I open the Graph Display and Toggle Smart View all I see is "Position X" and "Pivot Y", but he has all parameters showing, because in his example he modified them prior to doing the video.....sigh. I'm sorry but he should have started from a clean Vegas Pro project and a clean RED project. As it is, it makes it hard to follow. Simply put, he uses handles to modify the title animation, but there are no handles when you start with a clean RED project.

Hi Paul! Are you still unable to get handles in your graph screen? If so, please contact technical support at Boris FX so they can investigate.

As far as "smart view" goes, there are two things you can do: First, right next to the slider under the graph there is a button that looks like 3 equalizer knobs. Click on that button to bring up the graph view options, and then select "show all modified." Second, try selecting different tracks in the timeline and toggling smart view on each one- you may get different results this way.

And you raise a good point; it's better to start a tutorial from a new project whenever possible. My future tutorials will take that into account.

Hope this helps, and if not, don't hesitate to contact tech support at borisfx!

Hi Paul!
How can I make main title like "FRINGE intro 2026(The day we died)", with RED5?
So, how can I tracking subtitles and films?
THX! Medve
