The video does not go into detail on how to relink using AMA in Avid. I have had no luck trying to relink using AMA. Can you pleas go into detail on this workflow? Thanks.

Unfortunately, re-lining AMA media after importing an AAF does not yet work in Avid. We hope that this will be changed by Avid in future Avid releases but we can not guarantee that. There is nothing we can do to improve this workflow at the moment.

I cannot seem to get the media into AVID. Only the musci comes across. I have tried many settings. This would be a miracle for me if I can get it to work.
Settings seem to be the stumbling block.

I'd like to go in reverse. Id like to take mxf files and avid sequences and convert them to quicktimes and work in fcp. Can that be done

Hi, I am trying to make a transfer from FCP version 7 to Avid V2.5.3. with the trial Boris version.

When I go to export via Boris I am asked to put in the serial number at the registration window that automatically pops up.

After I have done so and pushed ok a very quick (too quick) transfer is made.

Then on my computer I have the AFF file. However it is only around 330 K.

So it seems like I am doing something wrong with the transfer because it is a test version?

How do I solve this?

I really appreciate you help.
