Purchasing an Unlock Code for your FEC FXPlug Trial

For Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion

The following steps illustrate how to register and purchase your FEC product.

Note: Even though the provided screen captures were taken from Adobe After Effects, all hosts follow the same procedures.

Step 1: Apply an FEC filter to your media and this should open the Effect Controls window.

Step 2: Click the Register button located to the right of the Help button in the FEC filter banner.

Step 3: This will launch the product Registration window where a Unique Product ID is displayed (shown circled below).

Step 4: Highlight and copy the Unique Product ID.

Step 5:The final step is to click on the Purchase button seen below.

Step 6: From here you will be directed to our Boris FX Online Store web page where you will select the appropriate Host link from the menu banner, e.g. "Adobe Plug-ins" if you are using After Effects or Premiere Pro, "Autodesk Plug-ins" if you are using Combustion, "Avid Plug-ins" if you are using Media Composer, etc.

Step 7: After the product page launches, select the appropriate product you wish to register. Once your purchase is complete, you will use the Unique Product ID you copied in Step 4 to obtain your Unlock Code for the Trial Version installer.

Step 8: Enter the Unlock Code in the field provided and click the Unlock button.

Step 9: Re-launching your host software may be necessary to complete the Unlock process.
